Jacob's Well. One of the most mysterious places in the world.

Jacob's Well one of the longest underwater caves in Texas and an artesian spring. It is one of the most interesting places in the Texas Hill Country. It is a really significant natural geologic treasure. The water in Jacob’s Well is so transparent that it seams like you are jumping to empty space.  Jacob’s Well is a rich habitat for aquatic species.

But at the same time Jacob’s Well is a very dangerous place.  Its diameter is 4 meters, the depth is about 10 meters. It ends with many endless branch caves that people have never been to. Up to this day 8 divers were lost in those caves during the investigation.....

Thors Well, Oregon. Mystical Nature.

Thor’s Well is part of Cape Perpetua, a typical Pacific Northwest headland – a forested area of land on the central Oregon Coast, surrounded by water on three sides. Thor’s Well is also often simply called the Spouting Horn. It is essentially a huge salt water fountain operated by the Pacific Ocean's power.
This natural spectacle is at its best when it’s the most dangerous to watch - at high tide or during winter storms.
The hole can be seen from the parking area at the far end of the rock shelf on the north side of Cook’s Chasm. Following are the photos taken from very brave and dedicated photographers.

Species of Pigeons

Pigeons and doves constitute the bird family Columbidae within the order Columbiformes, which include some 300 species of near passerines. On the pictures below you will see the various species of pigeons. Focus is especially on the species which are difficult to find in wilderness.

It could be seen glowing on the horizon last night.
The explosion of the tiny volcanic island of Hunga Ha’apai, 62 kilometres away from the Tongan capital Nuku’alofa, has become a tourist attraction today, with charter boats and flights taking people on short excursions to the area.
The massive explosion has been the talk of the town since the plume of the double venting was 1st sighted late on the 17th of March.

Chatham Pacific Tonga’s General Manager, Russell Jenkins, says the 1st flight this afternoon on an eight seater aircraft, was fully booked at a cost of 89 US dollars per person.

Hunga Ha’apai is a remnant of the rim of a submarine caldera that last erupted in 1912, 1937 and 1988.
